Good Luck on this Rich, They are going real slow, still seeing lots of solo/group does running loose. Seen a few small bucks with does, I say small, like always with the does, still sucking teat small. No really big ones yet.
I'm up in unit 10 at the Big Bo, I've seen a couple of nice Bucks on the does this past weekend, others with a group of 5-6 does. Lot's of Muley movement.
My opinion from my own observation, I respond to this post from one of my glassing spots. The rut is in full swing in the desert in my area.
Check out this dead head I found last week.
Someone lost a good deer or something killed a good deer. Found the entire body but mangled and eaten 5x6

That's too bad...looks like it was an older buck, a nice one!
FYI, for future reference, it is technically a violation to pick up dead heads like that without contacting G&F first. Maybe you did already, but I think a lot of people are not aware of this.
Sheds only. G&F considers any thing like that a crime scene until they can prove otherwise. Note the coordinates and notify them. They will come out and assess it. Don't move anything and disturb as little around it as possible to get coordinates.
Just saw a spike, head down and trailing a doe...only saw them for a second but he seemed to be checking the status. Last year I saw a nice 4x4 in the first 20 minutes on the opening day hounding does.
samsquanch, looks like the skull has a chunk taken out of it?
