I'm most likely coming up Friday, with a long-shot chance of Thursday afternoon. I've got one 'maybe' who's flaked on me before, so likely it'll just be me.

Ok so I did not read all of this but I would not do Kirtland Junction to Prescott via Wilhoit. That is death by switchbacks. If you are planning to go to Prescott take the Kirtland Junction left turn and come in to Prescott via Skull Valley otherwise you will be turning around and going back.

I would love to make this but I am not sleeping in a tent so it is RV and that is major prep especially since I may be in Patagonia for some other business and then getting ready for Alpine. Too many irons in the fire. If I still had the Tahoe I might sleep in the back but my 77 year old bones just don't take hard surfaces well any longer.
