I second. If you're vouching for him then he won't get flamed, although he will have to make five posts to sell. At any rate, he should get on here, because we're cooler than the facebook people

Thats not a great comparison. An angry bear is cooler than Facebook people.

If he’s interested in hunting, fishing, shooting, etc., he should consider joining. This is a great forum, with a great group of members. I look forward to our “camps” and good times.

Turns out, Mr. Bobby White is in California. When trying to deal with him, he is sending me to a "friend" of his who will accept my offer of $200 for the 9 boxes because Bobby said so. When I said "Never mind, I thought you were selling it direct and I don't deal with middle men", it then became send the money, I will have my son ship it to you, shipping is free. The whole thing is starting to sound like a typical Facebook scam to me.

Been there, done that, to good to be true with free shipping. You never know until it comes to the money part, thats when things become fishy !!!

Had it happen before with a new member nobody knew, Had no existing account at bank he wanted me to deposit to, Tried to send through Zelle, Zelle said no cause of previous problems, Paypal said no cause of same issues, Live and learn, Geez, if People would just GO TO WORK, they wouldnt need to scam people. They are usually from out of state also. If it were not for Zelle's security, I would have been taken. Dont fall in Love with a deal until its time to pay.

Go figure he'd turn out to be a scammer, I should've known better.

I finally blocked this guy on messenger. He seemed WAY to eager to sell this ammo. He told me that he is in Chambers which is Navajo Reservation. Since things seemed fishy, I checked with my buddy's F-I-L who is the chief of a local Police Dept. He pointed me in this direction: How is it that "Bobby White" has so much ammo that he is all of the sudden selling at such a reasonable price? Why did he not sell it during the pandemic when he could have gotten 5 to 10 times more than what he is offering now? When he was directing me to his "friend", his instruction was to simply tell him how many boxes you need. Where did they get all of this ammo when supplies are short?

The Chief advised me that, due to certain events, (no further clarification) there is a very good possibility that this is stolen ammo. "Bobby" informed me that a Super Moderator from this site is about to purchase a large quantity of .308 from Whoever it is, I just want you to be careful.
