Buddy just bought a VR80 to go along with his VR60. The 80 looks pretty stinkin awesome. And can get a drum for it too but that has to be heavy.

I just picked up a Kalashnikov KS-12T last week. These are so much fun, as they are basically a 12ga AK.
Pretty nice Shootin' Stick. Already have a few 20 round drums on the way.

It is way nicer made compared to my old Siaga-12. That, and I find it funny that it is made in the USA.

How many rounds does that stick Mag hold? Interesting concept for a shotgun.

You can get 5, 10, 12, stick mags and 12 and 20 round drums.
The particular model I have came with the 10 round mag pictured.

KS12s, Saiga-12s, and Veprs are IMO the best semi-auto shotguns when it comes to applications like defense, and fun. Proven platforms, familiar ergonomics, reliable (saiga-12s can require some work in this department though,) and lower recoil than a pump action. THe KS12 I bought even has an adjustable gas system for what kind of load your running.

Saiga-12s and Veprs are a bit more difficult to get a hold of due to the obama era ban on importation of certain firearms from Russia - however to get around the ban companies like Kalashnikov setup a factory in the US (florida) and now manufacture them here so the KS12s are easy to find.

The only disadvantage is you can't insert a mag on a closed bolt. There isn't enough room in the receiver to do so - so the bolt has to be back to change the magazine.

Similarly been thinking of getting one of the Moss Tac SG - they have some nice ones that hold 8+1...

Robert, I'm glad you posted the web links you did because I own a Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip stock. It's kind of brutal (for me) to cycle a whole tube of heavy load rounds through that short barreled brute. I had no idea Mossberg came out with the 500 Flex System until you posted your links. After watching the video I'm thinking of purchasing the 500 Flex kit and convert my pistol grip into a tactical stock. I'm too old to keep getting beat up shooting an intimidating peacemaker like the Mossberg 500.

Here's the video link to the 500 Flex System;

Dan, yeah I am totally impressed by this system. I used to be a big fan of the Rem 870 because of its adaptability and relatively low cost. This new system is a whole new - awesome - level!
Problem is, they are gone the second they are in stock! I have been checking weekly on a few variations of this system via gun.deals. Cheers!

Robert, it seems whenever something is innovative and awesome, there's always some caveat preventing you from getting your hands on it. Murphy's Law? LOL!
