I’m thinking one season of late rut is not enough to change management programming. That would be pretty knee jerk science. And again hunters are not the only spoke in the wheel of game management.

We are starting to see the number of covid hunters drop off. There were some spring left overs.
They all bought mountain bikes and elastic shorts and have taken over Usery Pass and Bush Hwy:ROFLMAO:

That was true in the far part of history and they even had dayes but recently they had been opening the draw as soon as the the regs dropped. They had it all together recently and then started changing stuff again

Got mine submitted. I sure wish there was an overlap with deer and elk with seasons and units. Two years in a row now. Had a deer tag, saw elk and not deer. Then last year, had cow tag and saw lots of mulies, no elk.
I just wish i could get a dang turkey tag. I could've killed 100 turkeys with my shotgun in the last 3 seasons while chasing them with my bow. Now all the bow units i hunted are off the list dammit.

Back in my early days of hunting, I use to Archery hunt 5 a, then if you had a legal tag, you could buy an OTC Turkey tag, thats where I shot my first turkey with a bow. I can remember doing that in 5a and 6a. The Good old Days.
