I didn't delete it. I "made a mistake". It worked for Hillary, why not for me?
Anyways, back on topic. With elk results now official, I went and picked up a Mapquests map for unit 5A today. Time to start scouring and comparing it to OnX, and do a little pre-scouting before I figure out some areas to check out. Maybe this summer I'll get a chance to go do a couple scouting sessions.

Back to 10! Was hoping for 9 but I didn’t fill out the app. Nonetheless early cow it is.
I got a December cow tag unit 10! It's been 6 years since my last elk hunt and I was not the Victor. I'll be going solo, unless anyone here is looking for a buddy. I'm a novice elk hunter, but I am a moderately experienced hunter. Hit me up if you're going to be in 10 this December!

My neighbors wife has that tag, mine has the limited hunt in 15/18 so we'll be over that way as well. I'm always happy to help someone be successful.

Alright New ELK Hunters, Guys, Your looking for info on where to hunt specific units this year in AZ. My Advise, Get off the internet and OFF your butts iand go to your specific area, Park, GLASS, WALK your units !!! Being Late spring, now is the time to get out and walk your areas you want to hunt, Look for sign, Rubs, Sheds, Tracks, ( both elk and Human) and Live Elk and see what the area has to offer, If no sign, go to another area, REPEAT. Any seasoned area huntiers are going to be tongue tied in giving specific locations on where to hunt, PERIOD. They did their homework, Time for you to do same, GET out and walk, glass, not just 10 am to 3pm,( worst time to scout BTW) , Early am"s or late pm"s. Do your share of the work, Then ask questions. General questions will get general answers !!!!. Like where to hunt in 6a, DUH, In the woods. Get the point ???? I wish all New and Old hunters this year Straight Shooting, Get a pile of meat !!!!

What?! You expect guys to do something for themselves?
I thought the key to elk hunting was to apply for tags in states or units that you’ve never set foot in. Then ask for information when you draw the tag instead of doing any work.
Hurts to find out that I’ve been doing it wrong these past 20 years.

If you didnt get a tag, The Portal and G & F web page has Leftover posted and number of permits, Some Good Tags left for sure, Im surprised. Good Luck Everyone.
I'm tempted to try to get the one late archery bull tag in 5A, so I could do some hunting in 5A too... I know I'm not that lucky though.
