Had to fill the nice car up again today to drive up to Copperstar range in Camp Verde. 5.199 a gallon this morning.
I think the battery will run out before I get to Costco, and how do I get the case of beer onboard?
Put the beer on the footboard then place a soaking wet towel over that. By the time you get home you'll have some frosty's.

Just filled up my Xterra at Costco $5.49 regular, total $98.82. Gives me capacity of 325 miles per tank full.
Higher per gallon here in S.Cal and Cali blended fuel at that. Wish I was at the Gilbert house.

anyone else gonna' be PO'd when big gas companies release record 2nd, 3rd quarter profit reports?!!

That’s what you get from a President in the mail!
Good morning to all-
Well, Fellers, here on the gulf coast regular gas is going for $4.05 a gallon, but hell, this is where they pump it up out of the ground- or from under the water, really- so it ought to be cheaper. And yes, I do believe the big gas companies are making a killing on us because of the killing in Europe. I don't believe for a New York minute that Russian petroleum being boycotted affects our supply in the least. this is just a convenient excuse for the big gas companies to bend us over a barrel and not even give us a kiss first.
Neither the consumers nor the politicians have a thing to do with this price gouge- it's big companies making lots of money off of us.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

Is that per liter?
Is that per liter?
Foreign countries with exchange rates are still paying more for gas than we do.
When I was in Mexico I thought I was getting a better deal, though the fuel is of considerably lower quality, figured exchange rate magic and all that.
Sat down and did the math and I was paying about $1 more than in CA. Folks there don’t “fill up,” they put in as much as they can afford to go to work, go grocery shopping.

"Give that man a cupie doll!"

Next puzzle - name the movie
I wish the President and cabinet paid for their own fuel, LOL, It wouldnt be as high as it is if he had Paid any attention. I filled up today, $86.50 for a tank full, That hurts on a Retirees Budget !!! OUCH !!! 😭 And it was not even empty.

I was going to ask if that was from empty, because I'd drive to Payson to pay those prices

I paid $135 to fill my truck from empty the other day.... Ridiculous. When I moved to Arizona I used some rewards points and was able to fill my truck for $35.....

You must have a small tank! I put $140 in my Silverado last week.

The new Maverick in Williams has the cheapest gas up here, $3.85/gal right now, $4.39 for diesel.
