Bear- Brother, you are doing better than I have done here lately. Has been a very, very slow early spring on the coast.
What did you catch that fine rainbow on?

I'm still planning on coming up 2/20, so Tonto, East Verde, or Green Valley? Might not bring any home though, our freezer is packed with trout and I haven't had any free weekends to fire up the smoker, that's next on my list of food preservation items to get to!

Tried Green Valley today, anyone say " Choclate Milk " ? Lol, It was muddy, water coming in at one end due to snow this week, Had 0 Bites. It was nice watching the Bald Eagle nesting/ fishing, he came up 0 also, and all the ducks. Nice just to Enjoy Nature!!!

Well, I did slightly better at NOT Green Valley.
The first picture was of my first fish of the day, my second picture is of the biggest. I didn't have a scale or measuring tape on me, but my hand breadth when spread is 8" so I'm guessing 19-21" fish. Was about 3 lbs or so. They all got released because I borrowed my girlfriends car while she and my mom went shopping so I didn't have anywhere to put the fish. Lol.

I'll PM you, as well as any other regular here who wants to know. I don't want to blow up the spot too early in the season, once summer comes around it'll be crowded enough

We can take my station wagon next time! How is the water not frozen overI'll PM you, as well as any other regular here who wants to know. I don't want to blow up the spot too early in the season, once summer comes around it'll be crowded enough

I've got coolers that will fit in the trunk of her car, I just didn't bring any. I only had an hour or two to fish and wasn't expecting much, lol.

@Savageman2506 I think I would've wrapped it in a floormat or thrown it in the trunk, a little Fabreeze takes care of the stench after you cook up that nice trout dinner!
