Henry Big Boy .44 Mag

  1. I bought the rifle used the other day. While inspecting it in the store, everything was tight. By the time I got it home the stock wiggled a little, which I'm sure it didn't do in the store. I tightened the screw and all is well. The question is, does the type of wood used on these rifles expand/contract more than most? If so, should I loosen the screw to prevent it from cracking?
  2. I have the Big Boy in .357 and have never encountered that issue. Got it new about a year and a half ago.
