Ok, I've had 2 pairs of hunting shears for cutting feet, legs off, Both have broken at the joint. Now I think I'm just going to use some Corona Cutters, I've used when I was landscaping, pretty easy to sharpen with a flat file if you know how, and have a little wire bail to keep closed.

What do you guys use ????

I've always just used a knife at the joints for pretty much everything.

Small animals I just snap and cut, or overextend and cut, large animals I just cut around, then use a stiff blade and pry to sever the tendons
