  1. Volunteers needed to heip build habitat at Roosevelt lake.

    to construct Roosevelt Lake fish habitat

    Anglers: The Arizona Game and Fish Department will be constructing fish habitat at Roosevelt Lake on Friday, May 11, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, May 12, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to come help build these structures.

    Meet up at the Windy Hill amphitheater parking lot, where Georgia cubes (pictured) will be built. Please bring cordless drills and sawzalls. It will be hot, so come prepared.

HEY, Was in Cholla Bay this weekend, wind was blowing 20 to 30, Didnt catch much, a 5 lb corvina that I let go to grow bigger and a 3 lb Bonita that was way to small to keep. i Love shashmi but that was baby kill. Had a large fish on, never got to shore, thinking it was a large bonito or sea trout. Will never know. Blue Crabs were starting to make there appearance for season, Just to small yet. Need to 3lbs + to eat or at least to boil. Cut Squid to seem to be bait of choice.
  4. I will be there at the end of June and can't wait to do so surf fishing. Hopefully the tides cooperate.
