Anywhere in the desert, they are abundant near just about anywhere. Where and how far are you willing to travel

not to far I mean like 100 miles or so would like to stay close to phoenix area

is it true you can hunt jackrabbit all year long ?

Yes season is year round, keep this in mind when you find the honey hole :

Supposedly anywhere is good. However, I rarely see them, or have a good shot opportunity if I do, when I am hunting. I have found plenty of areas with them, but never such an abundance that I even SEE the possession limit when I am out.
