Looking for a Hunting Partner

Title says it all. Looking for someone that likes chasing critters and fish as much as I do. Experienced hunter preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

1. Must love hunting upland birds - plus if you own a pointing dog
2. Wants to travel out of state for more opportunity
3. Doesn't expect me to do all the scouting then tie a deer to a tree for you
4. Doesn't expect a free ride, food, and beer EVERY time
5. Already have or willing to invest in your own equipment. (Don't borrow one of my shotguns 3 times and tell me you can't afford one, then buy a $600 pistol next week)
6. Must be able to handle my blunt personality and have a sense of humor
7. Have more than a couple days per year to hunt. Need to be available to scout/hunt semi regularly
8. Have or be willing to get a wife that gets along with mine (this way they either come with or stay home together)
9. Will not take other friends/relatives/acquaintances to hunting spots I shared with you without permission.
10. Does not want to bore me with long political discussions.

About Me:

I've got 3 bird dogs I like to hunt as much as I possibly can. I'm also into big game but chasing birds is always at the top of the list. I like to fish as well. My preference is fly fishing for trout but I like fishing bass as well. I'll be in Minnesota next week for Northern Pike and Walleye with relatives.

I hunt all over the state and try to do at least one out of state trip every year. Last year I did Gould's turkey in Mexico and an upland bird trip to Montana. This year I've got a sharptail tag for Utah and plan to chase huns then hit Wyoming on the way out for Sage Grouse. Will probably get a California trip for Mountain Quail in this year too. Next year I've got an archery moose hunt scheduled.

I'm 34 and have a full time job. Most of my hunting is accomplished on weekends but I take some time off here and there. I've been building points for big game in other Western states and plan to wait long enough to draw some decent tags in the coming years. The right person would want to make this a goal as well.

It's a big list of stuff but if you fit the bill and want to hunt, give me a shout.

We had an annual quail hunt that involved 10 or so guys and we would spend 4-5 days camped at a location. One of the group used to buy the cheapest beer available, thus no one would bum beer from him but he always seemed to run out on day two and then bummed our beer. We used to buy some Carling beer just to give him when he ran out. He also failed to provide gas money for the person that he rode out with.

I'm not the overall hunting partner you are looking for, but would be happy to get together for a bird hunt in central/northern AZ, Sedona area, some time. No, I don't have bird dogs.

I was never sure if this was not just satire. I fully expected it to be like the fishing one looking for a girl friend: WANTED: girl who fishes and has a boat. Send picture of boat. :D

Id post my dating profile but I figure too many of you would laugh at me 😂 . They see Ph.D. Candidate, they see scientist, everything checks off... Then they get to "Outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, camping, all of it". And immediately disengage hahaha

I'm DTH but not DTF 😂. I don't fish much since moving to AZ as I grew up crappie fishing and get super bored with the fishing in AZ. I'm no master hunter but have a few years under my belt (1 turkey harvest, 1 javelina and lots of dove, qual and a Duck). I just drew my first deer tag for 34A this fall and another fall turkey tag in unit 7. Many of my other friends that hunt are less into it for the hunt than they are for the adventure and camp parties and we keep getting drawn for different hunts which lead me to hunt solo quite often. My wife isn't much of a camper, more like a "glamper". She has a bad back so doesn't do well in nature without amenities. We have 11 acre property north of Williams just a few hundred yards from Kaibab National forest that I use for base camp when hunting unit 7 or 8. My wife won't agree but I'm actually hilarious, at least in my own mind so I might be a little biased.

Please notify me if my resume meets the minimum requirements and I make it into the job pool!

Im looking for a camera using rule breaking whiney partner that has some pull with agencies to get me out of trouble. Plus if he can spot animals for me with a drone and then herd them to me with it while watching them pass a trail of live action trail cameras so i can time when to put my bourbon down and pick up my rifle
