I know old post, But, Look at that fancy tripod, LOL, prolly cost more then the scope !!! :D
The tripod is a garden variety SLIK Pro CF 624 but the Monfrotto head is the schitz. When using the big 95mm and extender at distances well over a mile (up to six miles) the stability and micro control of the 410 JR is a game-changer. I can incrementally scan up, down, left & right using the knobs and work a grid completely. This video shows how the head moves, an ideal head for big glass, especially in windy conditions. It is amazing.

(FFW to 5:40 minutes)

They are really popular with the long range competition shooting crowd.

One of these days we will meet up, I'd like to try using that with the dial head, would definitely make searching a grid easyer.

I will be driving 8 hrs to Prescott, you'll hafta drive 2 hrs to meet me there. That's as far east as I'm going.
