  1. We sponsor a hunting show on the Outdoor Channel. One of the guys lives over where I grew up and he shot his buck last week here in Maine. Oh and just got word that the other morning my dad (aka kenton6) shot his buck and pictures are still on the way.

Here are 2 photos of Chris Cobbett's buck:

Not being familiar with Maine deer would this buck be considered big, small, or representative for the area he hunted in?

  3. I didn't get the poundage on it but looking at the rack, seeing Chris in person, and the way he is laying behind it, the deer is definitely not a huge buck. I would say an average size young buck!!

I will ask him what it weighed out as. Anything up and over 200 poinds is a good sized buck. Kenton6 shot a 165 pound buck. 6 points. Young buck!
  4. The last deer I shot in Maine was a fork, and dressed out about 170. There's some BIG deer up there
  5. I think you harvested them all Marshall

The real big ones are tough to get at. I always see doe and skippers. The big buck are "smaht" up heyah in Maine ayuh!
