Due to family schedules I can't do the azht camp so decided to start an annual grandkid hunt 2nd Saturday of March.
Got out with my son, sil and 3 of the grandkids. Saw plenty, got two... one had worms in lungs, 2nd my son ruined learning how to clean it when he destroyed the poop tube and stomach worse than I have ever seen happen lol.
Was raining when we arrived Friday, cold and wet into Saturday but warmed up and dried up today. Icy and cold nights and mornings. Breezy.
Kids learning to shoot, shot some jim steel. One granddaughter was whacking the heck of the swinger's at 25. She thought the square and round steel was too easy
Good eating, deer and elk steak marinated in mandarin oranges and sausage gravy with biscuits one morning. Eggs bacon and biscuits another and burgers and dogs for dinner.
Walked the hills whacked a couple rabbits had a great time with the kids.
