Naw, once you go thru a couple 115 to 118 days then 101 ain't nothin. A few years back we hit 123 in the valley and if I remember right it was 133 out at Creed's that day. If it wasn't for the heat we would have to put up with snow birds all year long...... :lol:
Slim is right. It can get hot. Last year we had a streak of 118-121 for about 9 days straight with one 127 thrown in just to remind me it could get hotter. 3 days ago it was 128 on the thermometer at the school just down the road from me, next day 126. And this BS about it being a dry heat doesn't always hold water. You can get those kind of temps with dewpoints in the mid 60's to 70's.
Where I call home runs about 3 to 12 degrees hotter than Phoenix during the day and as much as 20-25 degrees colder at night depending on the season. It's a freaky place to live.
