Rabbit hunting in the phoenix area

I am a new hunter and overly excited to learn all i can! Just wondering good areas around the phoenix area to hunt some cotton tails.

Welcome... you can hunt the desert to the foothills from Maricopa to North Scottsdale to the far deserts east to Florence or west towards Buckeye.. find a water source like Salt River, cow ponds, washes, creeks and should have success of the area is t heavily trafficked.. I hunt the deserts to the east and have plenty cotton tails, desert Hares, coyotes and quail to shoot at.. took me a few trips but eventually you hit pay dirt

Hi,
I live in Chandler. I am very new to hunting.
Is this a good place for target practice and hunting rabbits.

Does anyone know a good spot to go to for Cottontail hunting? I've been asking around at the local Sportsman's and everyone there is tight lipped about their hunting spots, like they buried treasure out there.

Edit: I forgot to mention I'm living in North Phoenix area to narrow it down.

They really are everywhere out here....got to “Hunt” For them.. lol. Good luck and watch out for Rattle snakes. They are out now

Try out by lake Pleasant. If you start there you can go a million different places that should have rabbits.

Did you ever find any good areas to hunt I'm trying to hunt Jack at this time trying to find any areas
