I like to hunt rattlesnakes and the more I know about them the better I'll do. I have a few books, including the bible by Klauber. I see the book Rattlesnakes of Arizona and Rattlesnakes of Arizona Vol 2 on Amazon. They are salty in price so I am curious how much good info they provide. All the comments rave about is the great photographs. If it's all scientific stuff and arguments on if a subspecies is really a subspecies or just a variant I'll pass. If it has real meat and potatoes information on finding them it might be worth the $90 per book. Have any of you read them? Do you recommend buying them? www.amazon.com/dp/1938850181
Sounds like an awesome book, but the price is steep. That is like a few boxes of ammo or a good mod for a gun.
this site is free, easy to identify reptiles. Used it for snakes all the time https://live-reptilesofaz.pantheonsite.io/
See if they have it at the library. I rarely buy books if your local branch doesn’t have it they might be able to order it in.
