topo software

    I'm interested in some topo software, anyone have any experience with national geographic or maptech software. I'd appreciate any help.

    I use NG and love it. I haven't used anything else, but I'm sure they are all great and will do whatever you want.
     

  3. we have 3-D topo for AZ and love it the CD's show you everything even watertanks jeep roads etc hope that helps

    I have done some archaeological site surveys and probability models using Maptech Terrain Navigator Pro . I can't compare it to any other topo/mapping software, but it worked awesome for our applications. If I were wanting a 3-D/Topo capable software, I would definitely consider buying Maptech.
