Hey guys thought I'd share this little recipe for deer meat that my mother-in-law absolutely loves.
Roll your steaks in flour and sear in butter in frying pan,
drain the oil and add some some sherry wine and more butter (if desired)
once the meat is cooked to your liking add some heavy cream or half and half,
add salt and pepper as desired, thicken with a little flour if you like and adding some blackberry jam really gives the gravy a great taste.
I still prefer my venison cooked with a peppered skillet with butter and onions, but the ladies seem to really like this recipe.
