Mods if in wrong place, sorry wasn't sure where to put it.

Game and fish is holding a rule making session and is soliciting comments.

One of mine is below for example. Now is your opportunity to give your input.

Please consider modifying rule (R12-4-303.A.5).

The use of cameras to some extent assists hunters such as I who work 40-50+ hours and live 2hr or more from where I generally hunt to have an opportunity to be successful. It does not replace boots on ground and experience but many times, due to my employment I do not have opportunity to scout as heavily as I would like and environment and habits change. The use of cameras allows me to rule out an area as viable as easily as it does for me to mark and area I should hunt.

The rule is poorly written as is.I believe as, LEO employed, it to be a nearly unenforceable rule as is written. I have spoken with several Game and fish officers who feel the same.

I feel a more workable solution would be if "license" to use cameras were sold. Bonus points, magazine subscriptions are sold, why not camera license?

Issue a license number required to be printed on the camera allowing officers to track and locate owners. No license number camera is gone or illegal and then if owner identified he can be cited easily.

Limit the license to say 5 or 10 per hunting license and no more than 10 per business use such as a guide service.

Limit placement to not within 440yds of a water hole. This should resolve much disruption of game and cattle watering.

The sale of license fees can be returned into managing, filling, repairing and building necessary water points for our wildlife.

Thank you for your time.

this rulemaking session is for article 10 amendments, which has to do with ATV's UTV's and offroad vehicles from my understanding, but they may take public comments on other sections as well. IT won't hurt thats for sure

its mostly about transferring duties and streamlining wording within the regulations to make enforcement easier for Game and Fish, and in addition they want a certificate of completion and a sticker or tag to be issued for nonresidents for display on the OHV so they can more easily enforce the standard, from what I saw. It's not going to affect the class itself much if at all
