LOL, yeah. Amazing how much people have lost touch with how things get done.
I used to work at a private entity that catered to rich people's kids who had taken a bad turn (read crappy parents). Anyhoo, these kids were pretty disconnected.
I was able to arrange a trip to the slaughter house once. Man, did that open some eyes.

People literally don't have a concept that the meat they eat comes from a living animal. They don't see past the Styrofoam package. Pretty crazy.

 

Had to deliver to BAR S slaughterhouses parts needed to keep equipment running, One day the were making Baloney, I watched for 10 mins, have never eaten it since, The crap pieces of meat, fat, guts, parts of hide that go into the grinder and presses made my stomach turn, And the smell, I was heaving at one point.

Same goes for Chicken Hot Dogs, Heads, skin, feet, anything that couldnt be sold as a product went into Hot Dogs, Just disgusting.

Nathans ALL Beef now, Ya Right. and I Love hot dogs, LOL....

 

I love Parmigiano-Regg. & Pecorino-Romano.

 

So that’s why it smells like dirty feet! As the saying goes, “that’s either bad meat or good cheese”.

 

We use parm in everything. I think I'll be keeping this fact to myself lol.

 

veal stomach lining (rennet) is used in ALL types of cheese. There are synthetic substitutes that can curdle the milk, but most people use real rennet because it's superior in performance.

That's how baby cows are able to digest a mainly milk diet without completely having the runs.
